Sometimes when I see screenshots or videos of SMBO I see yellow boxes around some of the badges? What do they mean? How do you get them? What do they do?

my dream for SMBO is for it to have many people on at once having fun together and playing minigames often.

Yea those yellow boxes around some badges in what you saw showed how items looked when they were equipped not long after SMBO had its very first release a year ago or two.

Before we moved equipped items to the Equipment screen, we kept them in your inventory and put yellow boxes around them to show that they were equipped. This was changed to allow players to hold more items.

yup, that's the default way eclipse uses to show they're equipped. If you see those vids, then the people probably didn't update the game or you're watching a vid from a real long time ago.
