Official TEAM PvP Tournament! (06/11/11)

So, I took Kimi's "fun game idea" from a while ago and ran with it.  The competition will be Saturday, June 11th at 3:00 PM CDST (1:00 PM Pacific, 4:00 PM Eastern, 8:00 PM GMT).

Anyhow, here are the rules:
- There will be a certain number of Fighters, each with a team of two or three Assistants.  Once Fighters are chosen, they can choose their own teams in a random order I will determine.
- Assistants are allowed to help their respective Fighter however they are able, including healing specials, boost specials, Attack-Defense Swap (I personally wouldn't bet on that), and if you can manage it, trading items.
- Fighters can attack only other Fighters, Assistants cannot attack any other players (this includes using negative special attacks).
- Fighters can heal themselves, use items, or boost their own stats, and can use whatever specials they wish on their opponents.
- Once a team's Fighter is dead, the team loses.

- Two teams will battle at a time; most likely, the Dry Bones Desert PvP will be the location of most rounds unless all contestants have already been to MK.  As such, it is recommended that all contestants save their respawn point in the desert.
- All Fighters must be at least level 45, whereas Assistants can be of any level.  This is subject to change depending on player availability.
- Players are allowed to spectate from the very edges of the PvP area if they wish.

The first-placing team will recieve 1,000 coins and 5 DE coins apiece, as well as special certificates.  The runner-up team will recieve 500 coins apiece.

As for sign-ups, please specify your character and type, level, and the latest location you have reached in the game (e.g. Bruyinsecte, Level 1 Toad; Mushroom Kingdom).  Also, indicate whether you would like to be a Fighter, Assistant, or have no preference.  Keep in mind that there can only be so many Fighters!  Signups will end at 8:00 PM Central DST this coming Tuesday (June 5th), and team-choosing will begin as soon as I determine turn order.

Anyway I choose Randy to be my assistant. Oh and tomorrow I'll announce my true, final level for the tournament.

Well my true level for the tournament is level 50.

While I have been to the MK before. I don't recall where the PvP area is. I think I'm gonna need someone to escort me to it. X)
