Official TEAM PvP Tournament! (06/11/11)

So, I took Kimi's "fun game idea" from a while ago and ran with it.  The competition will be Saturday, June 11th at 3:00 PM CDST (1:00 PM Pacific, 4:00 PM Eastern, 8:00 PM GMT).

Anyhow, here are the rules:
- There will be a certain number of Fighters, each with one Assistant.  Once Fighters are chosen, they can choose their own teams in a random order I will determine.
- Assistants are allowed to help their respective Fighter however they are able, including healing specials, boost specials, Attack-Defense Swap (I personally wouldn't bet on that), and if you can manage it, trading items.
- Fighters can attack only other Fighters, Assistants cannot attack any other players (this includes using negative special attacks).
- Fighters can heal themselves, use items, and use whatever specials they wish on themselves or their opposing Fighters.
- Once a team's Fighter is dead, the team loses.

- Two teams will battle at a time; all rounds will take place in the Mushroom Kingdom PvP Arena.
- All Fighters must be at least level 45, whereas Assistants can be of any level.  This is subject to change depending on player availability.
- Players are allowed to spectate from the edges of the platforms in the PvP area if they wish.

The first-placing team will recieve 1,000 coins and 5 DE coins apiece, as well as special certificates.  The runner-up team will recieve 500 coins apiece.

I can't be a fighter, not high enough level unless of course level requirements might change. My most expired character is a level 37 Luigi. Farthest I've been to the MK. I guess I'll be signing up for an assistant.

I'll sign up my level 35 Toad, hydrakiller4000, as an assistant. The farthest area I've been to is the Mushroom Kingdom.

I think I may enter ÜberYoshi instead; I'll make my decision after everyone else has registered based on what characters everyone else is using.  He's also level 60, and still going to be an Assistant.

I'll enter as MasterMario97 (Mario, Level 45) and I'm going to be a fighter. My level might get bigger so I'll keep training for now until my final level is decided.

Oh and the farthest area I reached is Mushroom Kingdom.

I'll enter as Kimimaru, a level 45 Mawuligi. I've been about everywhere in the game. I'll take any position.

Well we were planning on to do it on next week's Saturday, if you can't do it on any Saturday. Jdaster64 will see what other time will be good for everyone.

Could everyone post what times they are generally free, and your timezone?  The competition won't be before the 11th, at any rate, but I would like it to take place within the week after that.  I am never free before 3:00 my time on Saturdays, and Sunday isn't going to work either; I also work on odd weeknights from 2:30 to about 8:00 my time (although generally not on Tuesday or Thursday), and I won't know which nights that week until this coming Wednesday.  I am, however, free every weekday morning for an indeterminate period of time.

EDIT: If you don't know your timezone, just put in your post what time it is when you post it, and I can figure the difference.

Lets see... within the week of 6/11 I could do it anytime between 7:00(AM)-5:00(PM) on Friday, or 4:30 PM-5:30PM (for when the tournament starts, supposing it'll take around 1-2 hours) also, I'm in PST

For weekdays, any time past.. 3:30 PM (I was gonna say 3:00 PM but decided to give myself more space). My dinner time can be anywhere from 5:30 PM-6:45 PM so I dunno about that time (and I clean the dishes except Tuesdays because I make supper on that day). Weekends, anywhere from 10:00 AMish to 1:55PM, and then from 4:20 to anytime (except dinner time like the weekdays). On Sunday, I ain't available. My time is GMT -8 (10 past 10:00 AM right now)

Could all three of you tell me whether 8:30 PM Fri Pacific / 10:30 PM Fri my time / 6:30 AM Sat MM97's time would work?  The way I see it, that's about the only remotely good possibilty for all three of you and myself, and if that doesn't work, I'm going to have to stick with the 3:00 PM Saturday time.  Ten-hour time differences =
