So, if you didn't know, ICU gigasoft recently released their public version of SMRPG Seven Sages, allowing people to create mods for it. This could include graphics changes, stat changes to characters and monsters, and map changes as well. You could pretty much just use the game's graphics and make an entire new one with the previous GFX. So, I encourage everyone who likes Seven Sages to try and make a mod of their own and submit it on the ICU gigasoft forums. Right now, I'm making a mod for it myself which will pretty much change Luigi to become a full-blown spellcaster, making his specials influenced mostly off of the "special stat," adding extra effects and damage to many of his special attacks, and reducing his physical attack, making Luigi more of a support character with weak dependable attacks but strong specials.

Here's some stuff you can expect in my mod:
-Modified stats and scaling for both Mario and Luigi (I plan on leaving Bowser as he is for this mod). Some stats are scaled in exponential or logarithmic curves (they're not extremely drastic, only slightly).
-Modifications to existing skills to showcase the caster properties of Luigi and the physical attack properties of Mario
-New skills with unique effects! I've already made 4 today, and one of them includes a new condition which very slowly regenerates MP for the entire fight. However, they all use animations that were already in the game, so don't expect too much.

I've decided to incorporate new "secret" suits which are stronger and provide more drastic positive and negative stat changes. The new changing room has already been mapped excluding events, and the first of these upgraded suits is already in the making.

NEW UPDATE!
I've finished incorporating the new suit/class! The new ice suit has 6 brand-new, unique skills; 2 shared and 2 unique for Mario and Luigi. Many of the new ice suit skills can also "freeze" the opponent, slowly draining FP and skipping the target's turn for 3 turns, with a chance of thawing out each turn and a greater chance of having the ice broken if attacked. In order to get the ice suit, you must kill Chompington, but where or who is Chompington? This enemy is located early in the game in the Mushroom Kingdom, so you don't have to spend too long looking for him if you have an idea of who he is! After obtaining the ice suit, you'll find a new portal which leads to a secret island where you can change into the new suits that you have already found!

I actually did apply your graphics mod to my seven sages version Grin

The mod is way buggier than I'd imagine, you can check out the already noted bugs in the beta testing section of the ICU gigasoft forums. I'll release a small patch as soon as I can that fixes the major bugs such as the messed up starting position.

I don't think U-division and C-division are still working on it, but many people, including me, are working on mods for it right now. Tanookirby, Garro, and U-div have all released mods for it so far. Garro's and U-div's are graphical revamps and tanookirby fixes some issues with the suit changing room to make it easier and more convenient. As far as I know, my mod is the only publicly released one so far which adds actual new content into the game, such as the 3 new suits.

Sigh Penguin I have 2 problems with the new version.  One can be Huh??System1ML?Huh? when starting up or DirectDraw Unsupported and all when the exe starts I need help.

Never happened for me. Did you download the latest version of Seven Sages before downloading the mod? The latest version of the mod is 1.0.4, with a 1.0.5 patch applied to it. This is more like a question which should be asked on the ICU gigasoft forums, because I don't know most of the RTEs that come with seven sages.

Ah, what!? darn, I was going to make my game where you can mod it! no fair!  Cry anyway, they are more advance in rpg maker than me anyway, so this new update should be a blast!  Cheesy
