This could be anything ranging from the near improbably to wanting to see a new update/tournament.

I'd really like to see modifications of old areas, such as added maps branching off. Higher level equipment and more special attacks would be really nice too. Above all, though, I'd just like to see the game active enough for me to log on and see at least 2 other people online for most hours of a day.

Event exclusive items. I at least want to see SOME in celebration of certain days, like a Santa Hat for Christmas and maybe a rare piece of equipment in celebration of renovations of the game and whatnot.

*bump*

Would also be really nice to get some screenshots and a new promotional video (which I'm working on) on the main site.

I personally dislike the website layout, I usually get a first impression on the game with the website, not all the time though.  But I feel like the website needs a change, I do know some HTML5, CSS3, Java I'm a little rusty but I could help develop it though.

Also the forum's layout is nice and it fits the Mario theme but the yellow is a bit too bright IMHO.

I agree; the website can certainly use some work. I will see what I can do in the coming weeks (I can code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript). Meanwhile, maybe you might want to suggest backgrounds, colors, etc. that we can use for the new website design. Also, what kind of content would you like to see? While I can make all of this up on my own, I'm sure it'll be beneficial to get everyone's feedback as well.

Let me make a new thread about this.

EDIT: Here it is: http://www.smf4free.com/forums/supermariobrosonline/index.php/topic,1346.0.html

I can also code fairly well in HTML, not too great in CSS, and pretty dang well in JavaScript. I'll start posting some suggestions in the new thread for the website.

On-topic:
A new minigame or some badges with cool added effects like heal power would also be really neat in SMBO.

I would like to see the ability to change your character's colour to more colours(particularly Light Blue), or alternatively, I'd like to know what file I could go into and edit to give my toad a Light-Blue cap. Thank you!   Wink

Thanks for your suggestion! Unfortunately, there is no way players can access the files required to edit their character sprites.
