Honestly, this doesn't take quite as long as you'd think; it helps to have had a 500K+ backlog before I started grinding.  With Pay-Off and an ATK-maxed Wario (or close enough), I was raking in ~100 Beanbean coins (1000 coins) a minute, so a full million would take roughly 15 hours, and what I had to get took only five or six.

But yeah, I'm insane.

To be fair, 300,000 coins at that time would be the equivalent of close to 5,000,000 now, seeing as coin drops weren't as high then as the beanbean bases now, and Pay-Off was a lot weaker.

I prefer not to use the word "insane", rather "dedicated to completing a near impossible goal". Nice work, though.

I still think BBK coins should equal 1 MK coin, just because that's the actual in-game conversion rate, if I'm not mistaken. If so, I'd estimate almost 500k coins in total throughout my accounts....

When you give 100 Mushroom Coins to Tolstar, he says that they're worth 10 Beanbean Coins, so we used that conversion. There are other conversions in the game, like when Lady Lima tells the Bros. that the 99,999,999,999,999 Mushroom Coins they got from Prince Peasley were actually worth 99 Beanbean Coins, but that didn't seem like a reasonable one to use. I don't ever recall 1 Mushroom Coin being equivalent to 1 Beanbean Coin; Mushroom Coins always seemed to hold less value.

I meant when you traded 1 BBK coin to the item holder guy, doesn't he give you 1 MK coin back?

Inflation rates in Mario games must be insane...

The Currency Exchanger gives you 10 MK coins back, not 1.

Of course Penguin, the currency of SMBO in coins and star pieces relate to Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga.  I mean just an exchange of 1?  That seems lame in accordance that if you change the coin currency, then the star piece currency will maybe become effected.

Well, last time I checked the currency changer I was pretty sure it said 1 BBK coin for 1 MK coin...
