The server is now back up and running!
Figuring out the root of the problem was the hardest part. There was a power outage a few weeks ago which reset my router. The power outage changed the IP as well as many other settings on the router. It turns out that when I put the server back up, no one was unable to connect to SMBO because a firewall setting in the router changed unexpectedly.
In any case, run your patchers to receive the new client!
