This thread will basically place the max possible attack, defense, crit chance, etc... in SMBO. It'll take a while to complete everything, so please be patient and possibly contribute to the completion of this!

58.6% chance (Waluigi)
Highest Possible Block Chance
Same as normal Block chance (Mario) since there are no speed buffs applicable currently
Miscellaneous
Max Attack Speed Reduction
REQUIRED BADGES: Power Rush, Damage Dodge, Attack Speed Up (-95 milisecs total)
Toad: -323 milisecs (with yellow shirt)
Note that -323 is almost reducing attack speed recovery to 2/3 of the initial 1000 milisecs... if it is 1000 milisecs, cause I'm not too sure.
Max SP (Run Energy)
REQUIRED BADGES: Speedy Dash (+65 total SP)
Mario: 525 SP
Note that max SP really doesn't matter once you reach a certain point, as SP regeneration increases with the speed stat, and will eventually reach a point where you regenerate faster than you consume your SP. I believe you can actually reach this point at around lvl 45, based off of Amanda's character "Speedy" which I heard was able to never run out of SP. I'm supposing that's around 50-55 speed...
I was thinking possibly merging this topic with Jdaster's Guide... it should definitely be stickied, or atleast noticeable, but it's too small of a topic to be worth stickying.

I think it would be best if this were moved into Jdaster's guide. I don't believe it requires a sticky.

I forgot exactly how the SP system worked... was it 2 per level and 3 per speed point, or the other way around?

I'm pretty interested in the formula for the SP regeneration rate, but you don't have to both telling me if it's too much of a hassle. Anyways, I updated the max SP thing, and I'm running out of things to do. It'd be great if someone suggests something, because I'm definitely sure I'm missing a lot of things.

It's in the guide; SPEED/2 SP every three seconds (minimum 1, rounded down). You lose one SP about every 120ms while running. So you do indeed need just about exactly 50 SPEED to never run out.

But then the weird thing is if you get in a turn battle with SP not filled and then escape, you get a fraction of the SP back when you run or win the battle.

Wait, when you win the battle you get SP back too? That wasn't intended.

I think it's more of a factor of the time it takes to engage, battle, and/or run from the enemy that grants the SP back due to the natural regen.

We made it so you regain some SP after running from a battle so you can run far enough away from an enemy so you won't get right back into battle again. I'm thinking of changing how much SP you get back (and fix giving SP back from winning battles) because it seems to be too much right now.

Peng, you forgot something. Stache Secrets is a buff skill thats obtainable via having enough DE Tokens and trading for it. From my understanding, it doubles Stache Points. Apart from that, you also forgot to include the base stats from other Buff Skills like Wario's Muscle Growth, or Toad's HP/MP Swap.
Also, isn't there a badge that modifies Coin Drop Rates? Or are Coin Drop Rates affected by Stache?

I believes it multiplies by 150%, not 200%
There is no HP/MP swap as far as I'm concerned, it's an attack-def swap. I also don't think his attack and defense really matter too much especially since he's lower tier for both of them. I already included attack/defense buffs in the max possible stats with buffs for damage dealt, but I haven't done anything with defense. If I remember correctly, toad's swap is a little hard to use in this because I don't think certain buffs can stack, and that's one of them. I'm also pretty sure all buffs can only be used on oneself now.
Coin drop rates can't be affected by stache, only by pay-off, so it's pretty self explanatory that 150% is the max drop rate for coins.

Pay-Off doubles coin drops, as of the new update. And yes, Stache Secrets does a STACHE-boosting special that boosts it by 50% temporarily.

Some buffs can be used on others, including all of Toad's buffs and a few of Waluigi's.

In any case, though, doesn't the person with the highest of a stat also have the highest corresponding stat-boost special (Luigi has x1.4 DEF, Wario x1.4 ATK, Waluigi among others x1.5 STACHE)? I don't think ATK-DEF swap would make more than a couple points of difference for anyone anyway, as everything rounds out to about 75 base, and it doesn't affect equip strength. Furthermore, it can't be used in tandem with any other stat-affecting specials or items.
