8bit week: Everything becomes 8bit for a week and people who attend get to transform to 8bit with special badge(takes up 0points) for completing quest.

Halloween: Halloween week everything is turned Halloween themed with a few quests and possibly some items.

April Fools: Surprise us about this one.

Thats about all I can think of for now.

I like how as soon as I post a suggestion, everyone else suddenly comes and makes their own based off of it...
Anyways, 8-bit week sounds pretty interesting, I'm just worried about the work load that would come with changing every single GFX in the game. Since you're new, I don't think you know all the different things that would have to be changed in order to support seasonal events, cause it's a lot :S

? I came up with this myself. It must be a coincidence that you came up with it too. Also I meant these as 1 time events and different ones every year and stuff.

It would be even harder to implement them if they were one-time things, considering all the GFX that need changing. If Kimi and Hydra were to change the GFX for a single 1-time event that were to never happen again... well, it wouldn't be worth all that work.

Unfortunately, the 8-bit week would be too much work for us, as Penguin pointed out, but the reason is primarily because of our current graphics engine. With a more advanced graphics engine, it wouldn't be as much of a problem to skew the appearance of the graphics so that they could look significantly different. We may not be able to achieve the 8-bit look, but we would definitely be able to do something cool.

Halloween sounds like a good idea; I'll run it by Kimimaru. As for April Fools, we always celebrate it, but so far we haven't made it an in-game event.

Good suggestions!
