Is your brother Roger deceased?  If so do you know where he's buried?

Otherwise I've added several of your relatives to find a grave.  If you want them join & I'll transfer them all to you.

Hi DM: Yes, I am the Allice who has done some work on the Cox - Roark and related families. I am the granddaughter of Beulah Cox and Claude Burns. Also yes my little brother Roger is deceased as our my brothers Michael and Charles David. Everyone is buried in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa. Thank you for all the work you have done here. It is amazing. I was thrilled to see the pictures of Laura Roark and Samuel S. Cox's gravestones. My Aunt Billie Burns and myself were in Welch in 1986 searching but never did find them, so thank you a great big bunch!! I've actually added some of the gravestones for our family that I did not see here and pictures of the actual person if I had it. Will keep adding as I go too. Looking forward to sharing with you. Your Cousin, Allice Burns Reynolds

Howdy howdy howdy. Smiley

I'm so excited to finally meet you.  I've seen your name all over the place.  Just yesterday I found a pic of your family including little you.  It was cute.  I wish I could've met my granny & any of her sibs.

I also found a tree stating all 3 of your brothers are gone.  So I created memorials for them.  I assumed since everybody else was in that one cemetery they would be too & I put them there.  Glad I was right. Smiley

It was a friend of mine that found Samuel, Laura & baby Leonard's stones.  Bless her heart.  She takes great pics too.

I had done a pic request for Barbary Cox & was notified today that you fulfilled it.  But it wasn't her stone...it was Phineas'.  Did they both have the same stone?  It doesn't mention her on it.  That pic request has been sitting there a long time.  Thanks for fulfilling it. Smiley

Have you seen the info on Frederick Stump & Stump's Tavern?  Did you know his son Frederick Jr was killed by America's first serial killers - The Harpe/Harp Brothers (actually cousins)?  They were so bad the pirates didn't even want to hang out with them.  I'm trying to get the American Film Co. interested in that story.  That would make an interesting movie.

Now if we could just find William Roark.  Actually there's a few I still need to find.  But we're getting a little closer every day. Smiley

Thanks for joining & thanks for posting.  See you around. Smiley

okay...as far as the Cox's go...

Do you know where Johnnie & his wife Iris are buried?
also Louise & her hubby John Cook
also Myrtle & her hubby Owen Ruthroff
also Ethel & her hubby Walter Sheffield
also Otto & his wife Ethel Jackson

I think I got Newman in the right cemetery but I don't think he has a stone.

Dinner time...I'll be back. Smiley

As far as Charles & his wives go:

I guess Lydia's buried the same place as Charles but there's no stone.
