Per our great aunt Delores he was born in England.  But she don't say where or when he came over.  She claims he came here with his parents & a couple of sibs & they all died leaving him an orphan at 13.  He went from farm to farm looking for work to survive & just happened to run into our great granny's mom.  The flu epidemic of 1917 killed our great great grandpa.  Our great great granny needed help & took great grandpa in.  Upon adulthood he married her daughter.  They had 2 of their kids, including grandpa, in Arkansas.  Then evidently the whole lot moved off to OK where they had the rest of the kids.

I'd like to know where they came from & when they got here.  I'd also like to learn the names & find the grave's of our people who got here & dropped dead.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Great Aunt Delores also says her grandpa Francis Whitcomb Neal was 1/2 Cherokee.  Which would've made her mother Zula only 1/4.
