Per the newsletter I got from SMF for free: We have added support for autoembeding of video clips from popular video sharing sites posted below.

How it works you post a link to a video from one of the supported sites and the video player will automatically be added to the post so the users will not leave your forums.

Currently supported sites:

Ooooo I love that purple hippo.

We have a cousin who has a cousin into karaoke.  She's done videos & uploaded them to youtube.  Now she can share them here without having to move them.  Just post the link to them (not the embed link...just the url).  Highlight the text, click on the button with the world & a page on it, it'll add the proper code before & after the text.
