Sorry, I don't really come on forums a lot so didn't see this thread. At least it clears up where the confusion came from.
Sorry if the wording on the website was unclear, last year brentwood was a new location for Discover Dolls shows, but it is an ADDITIONAL show, not the June show, or October shows in Peterborough moving. we have no intention of changing the location of these fairs.

The Manchester show was not repeated because the Hallmark Hotel gave us a great "introductory rate" based on the fact that we had booked a meal and had hoped to run a catered event there the night before. However, the meal was not well attended and so they made a lot less money than they hoped, and subsequently hiked their room hire costs up to an unaffordable rate.

I have been searching for a decent venue in the North, and have managed to negotiate a fairly good deal on room hire with Cranage Hall in Cheshire and have this provisionally booked for September 16th.

Once I have all the details I will add them to the site and start taking bookings.

I would also like to add that we will be giving priority to those who were booked for the Northern Doll show.

The hotel is beautiful, so I hope the show is successful.

This show is another additional date and will not replace Peterborogh or Brentwood.

Have to say that the Brentwood show last year was very good, and I am looking forward to having a double stand their agian this year. I do have to say ladies that most shows are held more in the midlands and the north of england than down south. My sister and I I do both Peterborough shows, and stay from Friday to Monday and make a nice weekend of it.
